The Columbus Center was supposed to be the project that reunited the South End and the Back Bay, featuring condos, retail, a hotel, and a small park to cover up the gaping canyon that is I-90. As of now, all it’s doing is driving its neighbors crazy.

Originally, the design for the future Four Corners MBTA commuter rail stop was supposed to be simple, a Y-shaped canopy covering a simple station. However, the Greater Four Corners Action Coalition felt like the design should be revamped. After a difficult process, it appears as if the coalition has succeeded.

For four long years, the Adams Court apartment complex in Mattapan sat empty as workers renovated the apartments into suitable housing for a wide-range of people searching for affordable housing.
