No new parking? That is insane. LAZ oversells the garage as it is now. That’s why they valet later in the day. Add new people and you won’t even have any space to valet. That and they just raised the parking fees.

Its sad when we say yeah, yeah, we want that casino, but then everybody says oh not in my backyard all there building here is car dealerships and elderly homes no offense intended, the people running this state or your bedroom community will continue to push young adults to more cosmopolitan cities, alot of my friends ask has anything changed, everybody is aging and the youth are leaving, continue to ignore age groups between 21-40 and you will continue to see more problems even trying to find educated people to work those good jobs, how about things staying open past 10pm on week nights for a start, especially just outside Boston, continue with this nonsense, and everybody will make what was once Boston, boston

Agreed, I found it very odd that the developer would not feel the need to add new parking spots to cover at least a portion of the new office workers that would flood into the area. I scoffed when I saw that in the source article, but I had to keep my opinion out of it.

Now that’s pretty funny when you consider that the garage already is pretty full by 11AM, and around 40% of the spaces in the garage are too small for the average driver to maneuvre into.

7 new stories means probably 500 new employees. If only 10% drive, this garage won’t have enough spaces to guarantee parking… I’d like to see the first SUV driver who tries to find the last open parking space which is 20% blocked by a pillar.

The tower is actually only slated to be about 290 ft. I wish it was a little higher, but developers need to get a special zoning to build even this high in that area.
